Welcome to the Cat Pottery

Within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in the village of West Burton in Wensleydale the Nichols family has been making Moorside Cats since 1982. Always cats, summer and winter, in this tranquil, picturesque place with its magnificent village Green and its hidden waterfall.

Here two generations-people and cats have been involved in the business : Shirley and Barrie Nichols and daughter Sarah alongside the family cats Chloe,Orlando,Zoe, Millie and Tilda, and since 2007 Ruby.

Moorside Cats are available exclusively at The Cat Pottery, Moorside Design in West Burton and also through Mail Order by Telephone, Fax and Online.

All orders are dealt with immediately and usually despatched within 24 hours by 1st class letter post, recorded delivery for the smaller cats and by our carrier ANC (whom we have been using for over 15 years). for the larger cats weighing up to 10 kg and more. Prices quoted are carriage paid.
